Posted February 06, 2019 08:05:18 The most important thing you need to know about dressing as a Pirate Captain is that you can’t actually do anything, according to a new episode of the Disney Channel series, Captain Underpants.
In the latest episode of Captain Under Pants, a parody of the animated series, Disney Channel’s The Great British Bake Off and The Simpsons, The Simpsons host Lisa Lampanelli asks, “Can I be a pirate captain?”
To her surprise, the answer is no.
In fact, Captain Toadstool is the only character who is a pirate.
While The Simpsons has had some of its most memorable characters (and villains) over the years, the fictional Toadstools, and even their most famous nemesis, have always been a bit of a mystery.
The show’s creator, Matt Groening, had previously described them as “totally weird,” and had even mentioned they would eventually be replaced by a cartoon.
But in the new episode, which airs on March 23, the character is revealed to be a true pirate.
In addition to dressing as an ordinary human, he also uses a device that lets him speak to the dead.
It’s also revealed that the pirate is wearing a shirt that has a picture of a pirate flag on it.
When The Simpsons’ Lisa Lampinelli posed the question, she was met with the following response: “That’s not a costume.
That’s a pirate mask.”
The episode is the latest in a string of Captain Toad themed episodes.
In the latest, the show’s original creator, Seth MacFarlane, says, “We’ve seen it before with the Toadstrees, but this time we’ve got something really cool and fun that’s a little more mature.”
